Hotel Policies 

Guarantee Policy
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to hold the reservation. The credit card will be authorized pre-arrival to ensure validity, however, no deposit will be taken with the exception of our Prepay Rate. In this case, the entire amount would be charged and is non-refundable. If you use a debit/credit card to check-in, a hold may be placed on your card account for the full anticipated amount to be owed to the hotel, including estimated incidentals, through your date of check-out and such hold may not be released for 48 hours from the date of check-out or longer at the discretion of your card issuer.

Cancellation Policy
For most reservations, our Standard Policy permits cancellations without penalty before 11:59 pm two days before arrival. Cancellations that occur after that time will be charged the first night’s room rate. Please note, however, that there may be stricter cancellation rules for special rates and special events. Prepay Rates are non-refundable. Please refer to your reservation details or call the hotel with any cancellation-related questions.

Any changes to the arrival date, departure date, or room type of this reservation is subject to the hotel's availability at the time the change is requested and may result in a possible rate change and/or service fee.

Pet Policy
The Memphian is delighted that you are visiting with us and have chosen to bring your pet. Please note there is a limit of one (1) dog per registered room that should not exceed our 25-pound weight limit; no other animals are permitted. A $100.00 non-refundable pet fee (per room) will be assessed during your stay.

To ensure a comfortable visit for you, your pet, and our other guests, we ask that you follow several guidelines: Please register your pet prior to checking into your room. Housekeeping services should be scheduled prior to your arrival, at times when a member of your party can be present. If that is not possible, please make arrangements so that your pet is not in the room during the service times you have scheduled. As you enter and leave the hotel, your pet is to be transported in a portable kennel. Health department regulations require that your pet not remain in public areas of the hotel at any time; this includes all of our dining areas. To ensure that other guests of the hotel are not inconvenienced by noise, please make every effort to keep your pet quiet at all times. In the event that our staff is asked to contact you more than once as the result of your pet making noise, we will assist you in making arrangements for your pet to stay at an off-site boarding facility for the remainder of your visit. The hotel, parent company, agents, and staff will not be responsible for any liability involving your pet with respect to property damages, injuries, or any other incident.

Additional Charges

  • Children under 17: Free with an accompanied adult (pack and plays are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Rollaway beds are unavailable)
  • Late checkout is free until 2 pm and based upon availability. For a checkout between 2 pm and 6 pm, guests will be charged a half-day rate for that night plus tax.
  • Parking: $15 per night

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 12 PM.

Do you offer parking?
Parking for hotel guests is available in the surface lot adjacent to the hotel for $15/Night. (Due to limited space, this lot is for overnight hotel guests only.) Restaurant and visitor parking is available in the Overton Square Garage, located directly behind the hotel. This is complimentary during the day and $5 from 6 PM to 4 AM. *We're pleased to offer two electric car charging stations

Do you have a fitness center on-site?
Yes, The Memphian has a state-of-the-art exercise studio located on-site that is open 24-hours/day. Our team is happy to arrange a personal or group training session, or point you in the direction of our favorite local fitness gurus.

Do you have an airport shuttle?
We do not offer an airport shuttle at this time, but our front desk would be more than happy to schedule your taxi.

What is the minimum age to check-in? 
You must be 21 or older to check-in at The Memphian.

Do you allow smoking on property?
We are 100% committed to providing a smoke-free environment, therefore smoking is strictly prohibited in all of The Memphian’s guest rooms and public spaces. Smokers are permitted to do so in designated outdoor areas. This policy is strictly enforced, and a $250 fee will be applied in the event of violation to cover the extensive cost of restoring guest rooms and public spaces to their smoke-free condition.
